HUPO 2023 is pleased to offer a number of travel awards to help researchers and scientists from around the world to attend the in-person HUPO 2023 meeting in Busan, Korea. These awards provide the opportunity for presenters in their early career to grow professionally by attending educational sessions, networking and developing professional relationships with colleagues from around the world. HUPO is encouraging all early career researchers and scientists to apply.

- Early Career Researcher Travel Awards for Master’s or PhD Students, Post-doctoral Researchers or Clinical Fellows (Abstract Submission Required)
- Staff Scientist Travel Awards (No Abstract Submission Required)

Early Career Researcher Travel Awards
Eligibility Criteria
- Master or PhD Student or a Post-doctoral Researcher
- Submit (as presenter) and have accepted an abstract for HUPO 2023
- You must certify/agree that you do not already have funding from another source (employer, etc.)

Supporting Documents Required for Applying
- Curriculum Vitae
- Personal Statement how attending HUPO and how this award would further your professional development in proteomics
- Proof of student/post-doctoral researcher status is required
Benefits
Applicants can apply for different levels of support (one choice only):
- Complimentary Congress Registration Only
- Complimentary Congress Registration + Partial Travel Support (max. 500 USD)
- Germany Society Support for 5 applicants with 1,000 Euro (applicable to German applicants only)
HUPO Staff Scientist Travel Awards (NEW for 2023!)

- All applications are welcome from non-commercial Ph.D.-level staff scientists and/or lab directors
- You must certify/agree that you do not already have funding from another source (employer, etc.)

- Short personal statement about why you would like to attend HUPO 2023 in Busan, Korea and how attending HUPO would foster your professional development in translating “the code of life” utilizing proteotyping/proteomics strategies.(150 words)
